TAT hails co-branding partnership between Thai Smile Airways and Cartoon Network Amazone

The co-branded marketing partnership between THAI Smile Airways and Cartoon Network Amazone will give a significant boost to Thailand’s tourism strategies and help meet the visitor arrivals and expenditure targets for 2015.

Addressing a press conference at the launching ceremony, Mrs. Somrak Kumputch, Deputy Governor for Administration, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) said that the partnership will help attract more family travel and enhance both the average length of stay and daily expenditure of visitors to Thailand.

Onboard, passengers can expect to join popular characters including Finn the human, Jake the dog, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline from Adventure Time, one of Cartoon Network’s most popular original series airing on the Asia-Pacific’s leading kid’s channel.

Mrs. Somrak said, “The collaboration between THAI Smile Airways and Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark will have a major impact on the Thai travel and tourism industry by raising the profile of the country and increasing the number of tourists to Thailand, which is in accordance with the TAT’s marketing strategies.

Ms. Tinker: “The opening of Cartoon Network Amazone this year was already a huge milestone for the Cartoon Network brand, not just in Thailand but globally.
