Located within 10 minutes walking distance from Luang Prabang\'s city center, this beautiful 4-star boutique hotel boasts of 33 charming guestrooms, and a rich history behind its architecture and interiors.

 

 

Originally owned by royalty, the main villa served as the residence to His Royal Highness Khamtan Ounhka, grandson of the Lao King. From 1938 to 1994, this private villa housed Khamtan and his lovely wife Khampieng along with their 4 children. Over the years, the villa witnessed the different historical events that shaped the country, and at one time was even occupied by the American Forces.

 

 

Fast forward to 2007, Apple Tree Group acquired this ancestral home and once again opened its doors to visitors from all over the world, beginning a new chapter of history.
